Claudia Conway Brutally Mocks Trump’s False Claim of Executed Babies to Mother Kellyanne on Fox Nation

Claudia Conway appeared on the Fox Nation show hosted by Kellyanne Conway, who just happens to be her mother and former advisor to Donald Trump.

What followed was not some nepotastic promotion of one’s child. Instead, a meaningful political conversation emerged where daughter vociferously argued against voting for Trump. She also defended reproductive rights and flatly blasted the former president’s repeated false claims that babies are being executed after birth as a result of Democrats’

The entire interview lasted roughly 30 minutes, a small portion of which is excerpted above, but while the conversation opened about content curators and influencers giving prime access at the DNC (where Claudia Conway seemed to swoon over Vice President Kamala Harris), the daughter then passionately expressed to her mother details about reproductive rights in a manner that demonstrated she has a much better understanding of the facts at hand than does former President Trump.

“Ninety-three percent of all abortions happen in the first trimester, and the rest of them will then have in the second trimester,” Claudia Conway noted. “And very, very small amount happened in the third trimester. And it’s about 97 percent of those abortions happen for the life of the mother or because of a miscarriage, or the fetus will not be viable. So 93 percent of abortions are happening in the first trimester.”

The younger Conway’s statistical breakdown came with on-air graphics indicating that the show’s host and producers were very open to supporting their guests’ claims, even when she took it to another level by hitting Trump.

“And when we have our former president in the United States saying on national TV, on the biggest stage in the world saying that doctors are executing babies after they’re born or in the ninth month, it’s not happening,” she said. “This is not happening.

Trump and his many Republican surrogates have repeatedly insisted that pro-abortion Democrats are so pro-abortion that they are in favor of executing babies after they are born. That is a flat-out lie: it is homicide, and it is illegal in every state of the nation.

During another portion of the interview, Claudia Conway also spoke about the need for unity in the nation:

I’m told if you don’t fit X, Y, and Z, you can’t be a Republican. If you don’t X, Y, and Z, you can’t be a Democrat. And I don’t believe in that. I don’t think things are black and white. And these choices should not be binary. You and I can sit here and find things that we agree on. We can sit here and have common ground, even though we have completely different views on many different things. You know, last night you and I talked about the debate and you said, you know, Trump shouldn’t have said this and not we can agree on that. We can agree on certain things.

Another telling exchange came after Claudia Conway told her mother how why she was supporting Harris:

Claudia Conway: I look at Kamala Harris and I don’t see a perfect person. I don’t see a perfect leader. But I do see change. I do see moving forward, you know, and I’m not one for identity politics, but it would be nice to have a woman in the White House, you know, not just for the sake of having a woman.

Kellyanne Conway: What about you? Can we wait? Yeah. Can we just have Trump win this time, and then we’ll wait for you or your sisters?

Claudia Conway: If Trump wins this time, I’m not sure that I’ll be. I will be in that position to come on easy walking into the White House before and oddly so.

The entire segment was actually a beautiful thing to watch, especially for any parent that knows that it’s in a child’s best interest to explore their own individual beliefs and encourage confident expression. For her part, Kellyanne Conway was clearly quite proud of her daughter, and the fact that she leant her platform to espouse views that she does not agree with was a wonderful thing to see.
