‘She Voted for Him’: MAGA Reacts With Glee to Photo of Jill Biden Appearing to Smile at Trump in Paris

Only one seat separated First Lady Jill Biden and President-elect Donald Trump Saturday evening in Paris for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, but the awkward seating caused glee among some Trump supporters on social media Saturday.
The outgoing First Lady and the president-elect had a moment to talk during the ceremony Saturday before French First Lady Brigitte Macron took her seat at the special ceremony.
An image that went viral on X (formerly Twitter) appeared to show Biden giving a soft smile as Trump was speaking with her. MAGA went wild over the image.
It is not clear what the pair spoke about or if they were simply exchanging pleasantries. But the photo was enough to resurrect a theory on the far right – that the Biden family voted for Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris.
Many of Trump’s most ardent MAGA supporters have long postulated with no evidence that President Joe Biden and his wife both secretly loathe Harris. The VP of course replaced Biden as the 2024 Democratic nominee and lost to Trump last month.
On X, the platform was flooded Saturday with reactions to the Jill Biden-Trump photo, which was presented as further evidence the Bidens secretly cast ballots for the Republican. Here is a small sample of some of the reactions:
