Fox News’s Joe Concha Suggests America Stop Referring To ‘Ladies of The View’ Over Meghan McCain Dig Because ‘Lady Implies Class’

Fox News contributor Joe Concha weighed in on the the reignition of hostilities between conservative commentator Meghan McCain and her old colleagues on The View Friday, arguing that the latter hardly deserved to be called “ladies.”

On Thursday, The View‘s Ana Navarro defended Hunter Biden by remarking that “Look, did Hunter Biden influence-peddle on his last name? Yes, he did. So did half of Washington. People sitting at this table did it!” before clarifying that she was referring to former hosts.

The obvious target of the quip was McCain, the daughter of the late war hero and senator, John McCain, who responded on X by wondering why her former colleagues are inclined to “bring me up and slander me on an almost weekly basis.”

“I have never been accused of a crime in my life and am a patriotic American – I would never and have never ‘influenced peddled’ in my life, let alone with foreign adversaries. Not all politicians children are the same – and I am no Hunter Biden,” she continued. “All accusations are absurd, defamatory and slanderous. I will be consulting my lawyers regarding what was libeled against me on The View this morning.”

On America Reports, Concha weighed in on the controversy with palpable anger:

Meghan McCain earned where she got to be. She did a radio show and I got to guest host with her sometimes, and this was 7:00 at night, downtown New York. She grinded until she got to Fox, and then eventually The View. And Meghan McCain has every right to be irate here, John, because we, because we really should consider never referring to the ladies of The View as ladies moving forward because lady implies class. And for a host like Ana Navarro, who was on John McCain’s Hispanic Council during his presidential run to make this baseless allegation, this leaves them open, or at least her or the show for a defamation case here, because The View, for reasons unknown to man, falls under the news division at ABC. And Meghan McCain is saying that for a news program to accuse her of criminal behavior, that puts this on a reasonable level of slander here, I think at this point.
