Former President Donald Trump is ramping up his assertions of foul play in Pennsylvania as Election Day nears, claiming that voter fraud is already skewing the results against him.

Taking to TruthSocial on Wednesday morning, the Republican nominee declared that the state was “cheating” on “levels rarely seen before.”

The call echoed his comments at a campaign stop on Tuesday in Allentown, Pennsylvania, when he told supporters, “They’ve already started cheating in Lancaster.” He alleged, without evidence, “every vote was written by the same person.”

His accusations come in response to county investigations into suspicious voter registration forms, not ballots, though Trump has framed these issues as signs of a compromised election.

Despite Trump’s statements, officials on the ground emphasized that no fraudulent ballots have been cast. Instead, election workers in two Pennsylvania counties identified large batches of questionable voter registrations, many from out-of-state canvassing groups. Local law enforcement is already investigating, according to the New York Times, clarifying that these forms are not ballots and stressing that voter security processes are functioning as intended.

In Lancaster County, where roughly 2,500 voter registrations were flagged, officials have meticulously verified each.

“The system worked,” Lancaster County Commissioner Alice Yoder noted, explaining that election workers are sifting through the forms to verify their authenticity. “We caught this.”
