The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart blasted a social media post from President-elect Donald Trump that used an image of him with First Lady Jill Biden to sell fragrances.

Trump sat with the first lady and her daughter, Ashley Biden, in Paris on Saturday for the grand reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. At one point during the ceremony, a photographer captured Trump and Dr. Biden appearing to exchange pleasantries.

Trump wasted little time capitalizing on the viral photo when he posted a meme of it that was captioned, “A FRAGRANCE YOUR ENEMIES CAN’T RESIST!”

“Here are my new Trump Perfumes & Colognes!” he wrote. “I call them Fight, Fight, Fight, because they represent us WINNING. Great Christmas gifts for the family.”

Trump also posted the ad and meme on X, formerly Twitter:

On Monday night, Stewart went off on Trump, who he said had undermined a unifying moment while simultaneously “sexualizing” Mrs. Biden.

“Trump was apparently traveling with his predecessor’s wife, attending the opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral with Jill Biden,

” Stewart said. “It was a rare moment of conciliation, one that would have given this country hope had it not been immediately undermined by the returning president releasing an actual cologne ad belittling and sexualizing said moment.”

Stweart added, “You fucking won! You won. You don’t have to push merch anymore. I find it hard to believe I’m saying this, but it’s beneath you.”

President Joe Biden did not travel to Paris on Saturday, nor did incoming First Lady Melania Trump. Trump was prominently seated with Jill and Ashley Biden and French First Lady Brigitte Macron and her husband President Emmanuel Macron.

Saturday’s reopening of Notre Dame came nearly five years after a fire devastated the historic building.
