Trump Blasts NY Fraud Trial in Social Media Screed, Ominously Warns ‘The Public is Angry Over This HOAX’

Donald Trump followed up his anger from his defamation verdict by — once again — blasting New York Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Arthur Engoron.

As the former president comes off of the $83.3 ruling against him from the E. Jean Carroll case, he took to Truth Social on Sunday and went back to railing against his civil fraud trial. Trump has already been found liable on the financial fraud charges James brought against him, so the trial will determine whether he will face $370 million in penalties and whether he will be allowed to do business in the state of New York.

Trump has been railing against the trial proceedings for months, and a decision is expected soon now that closing arguments have wrapped up. The latest Truth Social tirade was a steady flow of Trump’s regular complaints about the trial, starting with this proclamation calling it a rigged “HOAX”:

Why didn’t Judge Engoron announce his decision after we proved conclusively that I DID NOTHING WRONG!!! NO JURY ALLOWED, Great Financial Statements (which were very conservative, the opposite of the charge!), No Victims, No Fraud, No Crimes, Happy Banks and Insurance Companies, only success and profits — And a corrupt N.Y.S. Attorney General, who sat comfortably and confidently in Court with her shoes off, arms folded, a Starbucks Coffee, and a BIG smile on her face… JUST LIKE SHE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THE DECISION WILL BE! The closing argument of the State was pathetic, NO WITNESSES AND NO EVIDENCE AGAINST ME! Legal Scholars are “killing” the A.G. Case. “It is a Witch Hunt!” The Judge is being badly influenced, and the Gag Order must come off!
