‘A Walking F*cking Corpse’: Nate Silver Slams ‘Delusional’ Idea Biden Could Be President for Four More Years

Pollster Nate Silver ripped President Joe Biden as a “walking fucking corpse” and slamming the notion that he could serve another four years as “delusional” in a new interview.

Once a darling of the online Left, Vox reported Wednesday how Silver now finds himself a target of their fury for his election forecast after putting former President Donald Trump ahead with a 59.6 percent chance of victory. Their frustrations have grown after a year of expressing his increasing disillusionment with the Democratic Party’s decision to renominate Biden.

“It’s just the most obvious thing in the world,” Silver said. “To say he could be president for another four years was delusional.”

Vox’s Andrew Prokop writes of how the divide between Silver and much of the online left has been growing since the 2016 election. Silver’s forecasts famously highlighted the uncertainty in that race, giving Trump a higher chance of winning than many expected.

He said: “I was trying to warn everybody it was a close election. And afterward, I was villainized for that.”

Over the past year, Silver’s Substack commentary has often been critical of Democratic strategy, particularly around Biden’s age which, at the time, many Democrats dismissed as alarmist.

Silver, however, wrote in September that the commentary class was ignoring “a real concern for voters and a valid concern.”

As Trump takes the lead in Silver’s forecast, Silver remains unapologetic about criticism he said came from a “circlejerk” of diehards he derided as “Blue MAGA.”

“I don’t give a shit,” he said. “There’s a huge audience for the work I do.”
