‘There Are Threats Against His Life!’ Harris Faulkner Interrupts Liberal Guest to Cite Assassination Attempts In Defense of Trump Cancelling Events

Fox News’s Harris Faulkner interrupted liberal contributor Leslie Marshall during a Friday segment to chalk Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s recent spate of canceled events up to the two recent attempts on his life.

In a discussion about Trump’s appearance at the Al Smith Dinner in New York City on Thursday, Kaylee McGee White of The Washington Examiner praised Trump for being “willing to go into just about any room or any environment, regardless of how hostile it might be” and slammed Democratic nominee Kamala Harris for only being “interested in representing the people who coronated her, the top Democratic elite.”

“Did you say that with a straight face?” asked Marshall rhetorically. “I mean, she was just on this network with 7.1 million viewers, 4 million more than the former president. And he has canceled six events, and in addition to that-”

“Alright, I have to step in there, I have to,” interjected Faulkner. “If you’re talking about a rally, for instance, in Wisconsin, there are threats against his life. I was with him, my team, four hours before he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania. We were at Mar-a-Lago for a sit-down interview. There are reasons why they have to sometimes — I don’t know all the list — but when it comes to a rally, there’s a very good reason why they would have to do that.”

Trump has in recent days pulled out of an event with the National Rifle Association in Georgia, as well as interviews with CBS, NBC, and CNBC.
