CNN’s Kasie Hunt Declares ‘It’s Donald Trump’s World — We’re Just Living In It’ As She Mocks Biden Trip

CNN anchor Kasie Hunt declared “It is Donald Trump’s world and we’re just living in it” as she contrasted Elon Musk’s rocket launch with mockery of President Joe Biden’s trip to the Amazon rainforest.

This week, President Biden became the first sitting president to visit the Amazon rainforest, where he delivered remarks at Museu da Amazônia in Manaus, Brazil as a sideline to the G20. Biden called on the world to “preserve this sacred place, for our time and forever, for the benefit of all humanity.”

On Monday’s edition of CNN This Morning, Hunt contrasted Biden’s trip with Trump’s attendance at a rocket launch — echoing false claims from Biden’s critics that he “wandered” into the rainforest:

KASIE HUNT: Just before 6 a.m. here on the East Coast. A live look at Capitol Hill, increasingly going to be the center of the action as Donald Trump puts his second administration together.

Good morning, everyone. I’m Kasie Hunt. It’s wonderful to have you with us this morning.

It’s increasingly clear it is Donald Trump’s world and we’re just living in it. The most powerful rocket ever built blasting off from Texas yesterday with its creator, Elon Musk, looking on with the president elect of the United States.

Donald Trump wearing a hat, said 45 and 47, making the trip with his billionaire buddy to take in the launch just days after they both attended a UFC fight at Madison Square Garden, where the winner did Trump’s signature dance after the knockout.

All of this as President Biden prepares to step off the world stage. Here he was in Brazil earlier this week, the first sitting president to visit the Amazon. Seeming to wander into the jungle, he missed this group photo of the G20 leaders, apparently due to a scheduling conflict.

He is stepping off the stage as this made for TV cast of characters steps on stage for the new Trump administration.

DR. OZ: This is what Force Colon does to your belly fat.

LINDA MCMAHON: Well, you want to stay on. You got to play by the rules. But it’s up to you, Steve.

PETE HEGSETH: I don’t think I’ve watched my hands for ten years, but really, I don’t I don’t really wash my hands.

DONALD TRUMP: The branding absolutely missed the mark. You were in charge of branding Star. You fired.

But the full pool video of Biden’s speech shows that he merely took a different path that was obscured by trees (it’s a rainforest) and which was taken by numerous staffers and journalists after the speech wrapped.

Biden and other world leaders missed the group photo due to what officials called “logistical issues.”
