‘You Answered Every Question!’ Critics Brutally Roast Jill Biden For Praising Husband’s Debate Performance

First Lady Jill Biden received an avalanche of criticism following her take on her husband’s debate performance on Thursday night against Donald Trump. President Joe Biden amplified concerns over his age during the debate and set off a wave of panic throughout the Democratic Party and calls for him to step aside, but at an event following the debate, Jill had nothing but praise for her husband.
“Joe, you did such a great job answering every question! You knew all the facts,” Jill Biden said to her husband in front of a crowd.
“And let me ask the crowd, what did Trump do? Lie!” Jill said as the crowd cheered.
The Daily Mail, one of the most-read websites in English, shared the clip online and captioned it, “US First Lady Jill Biden has been mocked online for treating her husband Joe ‘like a toddler.’” Fox News host Kennedy wrote a column for the Daily Mail comparing Jill Biden to “Nurse Ratchet,” writing, “’Joe, you did such a great job, you answered every question!’ she condescended like a nanny congratulating her toddler for leaving his diaper dry.”
Sky News in Australia ran a similar headline and included a quick roundup of social media users saying things like:
“This intro of Joe by Jill sounds like a mom congratulating her toddler for using the potty for the first time,” a user on X wrote.
“There’s cringe. Then there’s Jill Biden,” another user wrote.
In the U.S., reactions to the clip were also brutal – especially from the online right.
“Jill Biden will not be remembered kindly in American history,” wrote Meghan McCain on X.
Outkick founder and conservative radio personality Clay Travis wrote, “Jill Biden tells Joe Biden he did a great job. I mean, how much of a monster is she? Needs to be way more discussed. She’s evil.”
