Sean Spicer Forces MSNBC to Use Chyron That Clarifies ‘Hitler Gassed Millions’
Sure, everyone wants to talk about what happened in Donald Trump‘s first 100 days as president. We could go over the failed healthcare bill or the successful elevation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Those are normal things! Here’s one that is really not, though:

Less than 100 days into this administration, Press Secretary Sean Spicer forced the people at MSNBC to use a chyron to clarify that, yes, Adolf Hitler gassed millions of people.
By now, you know that Spicer compared Hitler to Syria’s Bashar al-Assad and said Hitler didn’t use chemical weapons, though of course, those he killed did to go “Holocaust centers.” He’s already tried to back-peddle, but Internet commenters and the Anne Frank Center have spoken out heavily against him.
Look, fact-checking chyrons are not new. They were a pretty big part of cable coverage of Trump’s campaign, after all. MSNBC has done them before, as has CNN. In fact, CNN once had to use two full lines for it. Still, having to clarify that Hitler gassed millions is something new altogether.
