Newsmax Host Tells Alina Habba — Who Lost Bombshell Trump Fraud Case — That Kamala Harris Is ‘Crummy Lawyer’
Newsmax host Greg Kelly told Trump campaign senior adviser and personal Trump attorney Alina Habba that Vice President Kamala Harris is a “crummy lawyer.”
The Democratic National Convention (DNC) has dominated the news and cable television all week, and was capped off Thursday night by a widely-praised acceptance speech by Vice President Kamala Harris.
On Thursday night’s edition of Newsmax TV’s Greg Kelly Reports, Habba — the losing attorney in the fraud case that resulted in a judgment that could cost Trump in excess of $460 million if appeals are unsuccessful — joined Kelly and co-host Mercedes Schlapp for live coverage of the night shortly before the VP’s speech.
Schlapp invited Habba to weigh in on Harris’s skills as a prosecutor, but Habba went a different way Kelly took up the slack by calling the former senator and California AG a “crummy lawyer”:
MERCEDES SCHLAPP: This is Alina Habba, the senior advisor to President Trump. Thanks for joining us. And, Alina, you know, very clearly you’ve been in these rooms with Donald Trump when you’ve had these horrific prosecutors going after Donald Trump.
We saw tonight, they paraded prosecutors out there, criticizing President Trump and obviously trying to make the case that Kamala Harris is a strong prosecutor. Your your viewpoint on this.
ALINA HABBA: I saw among them Tish James, who I got to spend the better of three years dealing with for the Trump Organization when they brought false claims against my client.
Look, this has been an utter disgrace.
As a woman, as somebody who is an American, child of immigrants. I can say that I have heard absolutely zero about policy. I’ve heard some sort of serious form of Trump Derangement Syndrome come out of every speaker out there outside of the real American people.
We’re seeing actors and actresses from California, people that know nothing about politics. We just saw Eva Longoria. That’s the best you got before Kamala Harris.
And one thing I’m not hearing as a female is, what are you going to do for my children? What are you going to do as an American for the gas prices, the grocery prices? And how are you going to protect my children from the borders that you have opened?
This is not about a new person to the party. This is somebody we know well. And frankly, I have heard very little, very little, close to nothing about policy and a whole lot of hatred for a place that’s allegedly about joy.
GREG KELLY: You know, you’re so remarkable. What a great advocate for President Trump!
And this person, Kamala Harris, is a crummy lawyer. And she’s a crummy advocate. I mean, and every American at one point or another has probably seen it.
