‘You Have Lost All Objectivity’: Mark Cuban Battles Piers Morgan And Bill Ackman Over Latest Viral Biden Video
Entrepreneur and Shark Tank personality Mark Cuban nuked hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman and Piers Morgan on Monday for sharing a viral clip of President Joe Biden that appeared to show the president looking senile, but had been selectively edited to omit key context.
Ackman defended his posting on X, writing, “I have been criticized by some for sharing these @POTUS Biden videos which appear almost every day. I have read numerous articles which somehow suggest that the camera angle, the duration of the clip or some form of right wing manipulation explains Biden’s behavior on camera.”
“A president should not have to be led off stage by hand or with an arm wrapped around him. That is the not the image of strength and leadership we need as a country,” Ackman concluded in his lengthy post referring to latest clip of President Biden being led of stage by Barack Obama. The viral clip cut out the context, however, that Biden had already begun leaving the stage and had stopped to soak in applause before Obama led him off stage.
You guys both, @piersmorgan, @BillAckman, are so consumed with pandering to your twitter followers, you have lost all objectivity.
I’ll let you both in on a secret.
BOTH CANDIDATES ARE OLD. VERY OLD.
They both are going to have senior moments, mis-remember, forget… https://t.co/TVGpEDTGt4

Cuban replied to Ackman and Piers Morgan, who shared the clip Ackman commented on, writing, “You guys both, @piersmorgan, @BillAckman, are so consumed with pandering to your twitter followers, you have lost all objectivity. Cuban added:
I’ll let you both in on a secret.
BOTH CANDIDATES ARE OLD. VERY OLD.
They both are going to have senior moments, mis-remember, forget things and have physical frailties.
I’ll tell you a not so secret secret:
One is great at soundbites, but also thinks in soundbites.
The other is awful at soundbites, but thinks in complete sentences.
Voters will decide which we prefer.
Morgan hit back at Cuban writing, “I think Bill and I more consumed with reality than you seem to be, Mr Cuban!”
Lol.
You are 59. I’m 65. Guess what. Both of our hearing is going to decline. There are going to be things we dont hear well. Don’t see as well. Words that don’t come as easily. Things that hurt when we move and slow us down. Things we forget and have to make a note of.
Now…— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) June 17, 2024
Cuban replied, “Lol. You are 59. I’m 65. Guess what. Both of our hearing is going to decline. There are going to be things we dont hear well. Don’t see as well. Words that don’t come as easily. Things that hurt when we move and slow us down. Things we forget and have to make a note of. Now imagine being 78 and 81.” He continued:
But as been stated by many, physical and sensory limitations don’t reflect intellectual capacity.
What matters to me is the ability to understand and deal with concepts, strategy and bring together leaders globally
To have leadership skills, even if you do them while in a rocking chair.
What are your thoughts on the many people who have worked in the former administration, close to the president, who have spoken publicly, on the record, about his intellectual, ethical and leadership challenges? Vs the fact that no one has done so with the current president?
Cuban later doubled down on his point, writing, “While the current President has more than his share of gaffes, almost all of which of which are ridiculous self-owns, none that I can recall put Americans at risk of violence or injury. Compare that to statements about Charlottesville, bleach, Proud Boys,Jan 6, weather maps and more.”
Cuban in recent months has made headlines for his willingness to engage with pro-Trump, hard-right figures on X and discuss weighty topics from DEI policy to Trump’s finances and court cases.
