‘Oh No, Chris!’ CNN Panel Busts Out Laughing As World of Warcraft Remark Blows Right Past Chris Wallace: ‘Never Heard of It’

Chris Wallace entertained his panelists on Saturday with his ignorance on World of Warcraft, a game he admitted he’s “never heard” of.

Kara Swisher, Jonah Goldberg, Lulu Garcia-Navarro, and Kristen Soltis Anderson joined Wallace for Saturday’s The Chris Wallace Show and during a segment discussing Tim Walz livestreaming a rally in World of Warcraft stream, the popular video game which sports tens of millions of active players, Wallace was surprised to hear Anderson admit she knew World of Warcraft well after 10 years as a player. The game was also adapted into a live action feature film in 2016, and it’s inspired board games comic books and been referenced in popular media like South Park.

Anderson, a conservative pollster and New York Times contributing opinion writer, reported:

In addition to Harris going on podcasts and so on and so forth, Tim Walz, I saw he was going to be on a World of Warcraft Twitch stream, and I was very excited about this. I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for 10 years. I thought, what’s his class? Is he a Mage? Is he a Paladin? Turns out he was not actually playing World of Warcraft, but a Twitch streamer was livestreaming the rally and providing commentary. It makes me think on election, maybe not on this network, maybe I’ll be at home playing World of Warcraft and yammering about the election. It could be fun.

“Whatever this game is, you play it?” Wallace asked.

“Extensively,” she said, as the panel broke into laughter over Wallace’s admission.

“Whatever this game is, oh no, oh no, Chris!” Garcia-Navarro said.

“I never heard of it,” Wallace said before quickly moving on
