ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT: Bloodied Trump Rushed Off Stage As Shots Fired at PA Rally – 2 Dead

Law enforcement are investigating an attempted assassination of former president and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

As Trump was delivering remarks, the sound of the shots could be heard on live broadcasts from many outlets. Trump grabbed at his ear and was quickly down under the cover of Secret Service agents, who kept him under cover for a few minutes before they were heard on a hot mic saying “Shooter’s down” and then escorting the former president, with blood on his face, off stage.

Before they took him down the steps, Trump raised his fist in defiance as the crowd cheered and chanted “USA! USA!”

A spokesperson confirmed that Trump is “fine” and was treated at a nearby medical facility. It’s not clear what caused his injury, though initial reports said he was “grazed” by a bullet.”

The AP has confirmed that two are dead in the shooting, reporting one was a rallygoer and the other a suspected shooter. An ER doctor who was at the rally spoke with CBS News still covered in blood, about his efforts to save an apparent gunshot victim.

A former congressman reported shortly after the incident that he heard as many as 10 shots.

Photos and video from the incident show Trump with blood on his face as Secret Service rushes him off the stage.
