Bill O’Reilly Shoots Down GOP Claims That Kamala Harris Opened Border: ‘She Has No Power… She’s Lucky She Can Order Lunch!’

Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday dismissed the narrative pushed by Republicans that Vice President Kamala Harris was directly responsible for an open border.

During NewsNation’s live town hall, O’Reilly mentioned that the “majority of Americans don’t like the open border” and that it will come into play when voting in the election. The longtime journalist then explained how the immigration was more of an indictment on President Joe Biden and not the vice president who, according to him, has “no power.”

“Do you realize that the president Joe Biden never explained to you or me why he opened that border?” O’Reilly said while joined by Chris Cuomo and Stephen A. Smith, “and do you realize that his vice president — and it’s funny when [Donald Trump] and his surrogates get out there and say, ‘Oh, Kamala Harris opened the border.’ Kamala Harris has no power at all as vice president. No vice president ever had any power. She’s lucky she can order lunch! She doesn’t make policy, but she cheerleaded it.”

O’Reilly then predicted that Harris’s apparent inability to differentiate herself from the current president will cost her the election.

“And you wanna know what the biggest mistake Kamala Harris made in the whole campaign [is], which is going to lead to her defeat?” he said. “On The View, they asked her a very simple question: ‘Is there anything you would’ve done differently in four years?’ ‘Can’t think of anything.’ Hey, I got 50; but I got under Trump, too. I got 50 for each of them because it’s so hard to run this government. You can’t say, ‘For four years, we never made any mistakes.’ She said that!”
