RFK’s ‘Brain Worm’ Drops By the SNL Weekend Update Desk in Hilarious Sketch: ‘RFK’s Body Was a Worm’s Paradise!’

Saturday Night Live spoofed Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s incredible revelation that a worm ate part of his brain before dying inside his head.

Kennedy claimed in a 2012 deposition that doctors found a “dead parasite” in his brain during a medical scan, a fact that was quickly picked up by pundits and comedians alike.

Sarah Sherman played “the worm” on Saturday’s show — decked out with an RFK Jr. flag and campaign button. Sherman told Weekend Update’s Colin Jost all about her adventure inside the head of the independent candidate for president:

SHERMAN: “Look at this guy! What worm wouldn’t love this?” Sherman said while pointing to a photo of a post-workout shirtless Kennedy. “He looks like a pack of chicken thighs left out in the sun. And check out his face! He looks like someone left Bruce Springsteen in the microwave too long. His face is so red, he looks like you, when you’re screaming at those college protesters, Colin.”

JOST: How did you get into his brain in the first place?

SHERMAN: Same way you get to Carnegie Hall.

JOST: Practice, practice, practice?

SHERMAN:  No, through the anus! But look, RFK’s body was a worm’s paradise: not a single drop of vaccine in sight. My whole parasite posse hung out in there. Shout out to hook worm, bot fly, that fish that swims up your pee stream, and my man, Tom Sandoval.

The New York Times’ Susanne Craig  wrote that brain scans revealed a “dark spot” that was “first thought to be a tumor, but a second opinion yielded a far weirder possibility: a ‘dead parasite.’” Craig continued, “The doctor believed that the abnormality seen on his scans “was caused by a worm that got into my brain and ate a portion of it and then died,” Kennedy said

Kennedy poked fun at the situation, posting, “I offer to eat 5 more brain worms and still beat President Trump and President Biden in a debate.”
