‘Trump Armband’ Comedians Caught Begging Justin Trudeau to Run for US President

Last week we reported on the identities of two pranksters who have put together a pretty impressive string of pro-level trolling at the expense of various Presidential candidates. As Mediaite discovered after doing some digging, Davram Stefler and Jason Selvig are the two funnymen responsible for recently donning Donald Trump armbands in Florida, managing to dupe Fox News’ Carl Cameron in the process:

Previously, Stefler and Selvig — who not only refused comment to Mediaite but also removed many of their original YouTube comedy videos after our initial report on their identities — also trolled Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton with these awesome “Settle For Hillary” tee-shirts:

But the hits don’t end there. The comedians were responsible for interrupting a Marco Rubio rally by hysterically shouting “He’s trying to steal my girlfriend!”. Cameras caught Stefler sadly admitting in the bit, “She doesn’t look at me the same anymore,” after detailing how his “girlfriend” met the Florida Senator at a campaign event.

And now, we’ve spotted the duo back at it again, and it seems to have gone over the heads of the Vox staff and former Mic on-air talent Liz Plank in this recently produced video that featured Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau:

While Trudeau was visiting New York City recently, he sat down for an interview with Plank at the SoHo Canadian bakery Mile End. “[Trudeau’s] such a phenomenon that he inspired this,” says Plank in the video, which then cuts to two (presumably) random guys starting to beg the heartthrob Trudeau to run for President of the United States.

“We will literally beg you!” Selvig says in the video as the duo falls to their knees to the appreciative laughter of Trudeau and Plank standing nearby:

The duo managed one last little bit of comedic screen time, crossing behind the interview and saying to Trudeau, “Last chance — please run for President!”

There’s a lot of campaign left, and although the lid has been blown off of the identity of the pro pranksters, there’s no telling what else the duo might cook up. And although much of their original content that they published under the original sketch comedy group The Good Liars has since been removed (presumably to keep their identities on the down-low), you can still catch some of their early political work here.
