Trump Goes Ballistic in All-Caps Rant Claiming Women Will ‘NO LONGER BE THINKING ABOUT ABORTION’ If He Wins
Former President Donald Trump went on an all-caps rant on Truth Social last night about the issue of dealing with abortion if he wins.
The GOP nominee claimed that women are “POORER” and “LESS HEALTHY” since he was voted out of office four years ago. He also told his supporters that women in America “ARE MORE DEPRESSED” and “UNHAPPY” because he is no longer in the White House.
Abortion is a major issue in the upcoming November race and a key talking point for Vice President Kamala Harris as she seeks to rally her Democratic supporters. On the campaign trail, Harris has bashed Trump over the repeal of Roe v. Wade as well as the former president’s support for abortion bans in states such as Florida.
Trump vowed that if he is elected “WOMEN WILL BE HAPPY, HEALTHY, CONFIDENT AND FREE!”
>On Friday evening he wrote, “WOMEN ARE POORER THAN THEY WERE FOUR YEARS AGO, ARE LESS HEALTHY THAN THEY WERE FOUR YEARS AGO, ARE LESS SAFE ON THE STREETS THAN THEY WERE FOUR YEARS AGO, ARE MORE DEPRESSED AND UNHAPPY THAN THEY WERE FOUR YEARS AGO, AND ARE LESS OPTIMISTIC AND CONFIDENT IN THE FUTURE THAN THEY WERE FOUR YEARS AGO!”
“I WILL FIX ALL OF THAT, AND FAST,” Trump wrote. “AND AT LONG LAST THIS NATIONAL NIGHTMARE WILL BE OVER.”
He said women will “NO LONGER BE THINKING ABOUT ABORTION” if he’s president because it will all be sorted out by the states, to include “powerful exceptions” and therefore women’s lives will be “happy, beautiful, and great again.”
The question of a national abortion ban has come up a lot in the 2024 presidential race. Trump’s VP nominee JD Vance has previously stated that the former president would sign a bill banning abortion nationwide in the U.S. but Trump later suggested he wouldn’t during the ABC News debate.
