WATCH: Scott Jennings Pitches ‘Real American’ Hulk Hogan For Marco Rubio’s Senate Seat
CNN panelist Scott Jennings gave an impassioned pitch for Hulk Hogan to take up Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) possibly soon-to-be vacant seat if the lawmaker decides to take up a position in President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet.
The New York Times reported Monday that Trump is expected to nominate Rubio to be his secretary of State.
Closing out CNN NewsNight on Tuesday, however, conservative panelist Jennings proudly wore his bright yellow Hulkmania sweater to humorously deliver his backing to legendary retired wrestler Hulk Hogan – a vocal Trump supporter.
If Marco Rubio does, in fact, become secretary of state, we will need a new senator from the state of Florida. We need someone with Rubio‘s national security credentials. Now, there is one Floridian who can do it. He stood up to the Russians and the Iranians in the 1980s when he defeated the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, two of America‘s most lethal folks.
He is a real American, he fights for the rights of every man, and he knows the courage is the thing that keeps us free. Ladies and gentlemen, I announce — Ron DeSantis, get on it — Hulk Hogan for U.S. Senate.
And whatcha gonna do, Chuck Schumer, when Hulkamania runs wild on you, brother?
Bemused host Abby Phillip then remarked: “We’ve got to leave it there. CNN News continues next.”
