Jimmy Kimmel Warns Bill Burr His Quip About Biden and Trump Dying Will Get Him Secret Service Visit

Comedian Bill Burr shared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday that he’s struggling with who to vote for in 2024, but “with any luck,” both former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden will be dead.

He was joking of course. Bill Burr is a comedian. The political part of the conversation he had with host Jimmy Kimmel begins around the 7:25 mark, and Burr first launched into a criticism of how liberals dealt with Trump:

Burr: Liberals are so fucking stupid the way that they handle Trump.

Kimmel: What do you mean?

Burr: You should shut up! He’s a narcissist. Neutral energy. Neutral.

Kimmel: You think he’d go away if we stopped…

Burr: You know what I think he was? I think he was a one-hit wonder. He wrote “The Twist.” And then that was it. He was on the casino circuit. And then you idiot liberals wrote him “Twist Again” when you indicted him, and now he’s a martyr. He’s coming back, Jimmy!

Which led to Burr’s more morbid hopes for 2024:

I can’t believe like these are honestly going to be our two choices. Because I really try to, with each thing, to try to be like, figure out who I’m going to… But I mean there got to be… I want somebody in their 40s. Somebody that’s going to have to live with their decisions. I don’t want like… You know, with any luck they’ll both die of natural causes before the election, and maybe you could get somebody that still has something to live for.

And Kimmel’s immediate reaction included a dire warning:

Wow. This year you’re not going to get a visit from Santa, but you are going to get a visit from the Secret Service.
