‘Despicable’: Rosie O’Donnell Swears Off Morning Joe, Rages at Hosts After They ‘Kiss’ Trump’s Ring at Mar-a-Lago

Rosie O’Donnell is no longer a fan of Morning Joe, calling the hosts “despicable” for their recent trip to Mar-a-Lago to meet with President-elect Donald Trump.

In a TikTok post on Tuesday, O’Donnell declared she will never tune into another episode of Morning Joe over Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski’s meeting with Trump. O’Donnell, a former host on The View, characterized the meeting as sycophantic

“So Mika and Joe went down to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring. It’s the last time I ever watch Morning Joe. Period. End of statement. Unreal. Unreal,” she said. “For months you were telling us he’s the worst thing that could happen to this country and democracy and then you go kiss his ring? Despicable. Despicable you, both of you.”

Trump and O’Donnell have feuded for years, trading public insults.

Scarborough and Brzezinski visited Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property on Friday with Scarborough saying that it was time for a “new approach” in their Trump coverage. Both MSNBC hosts have been vocal Trump critics, often raising the alarm about the threat he posed to the country in the months leading up to the election.

Scarborough dismissed criticism of the meeting, chalking it up to social media and saying he’s received positive feedback.

“Yesterday I saw for the first time what a massive disconnect there was between social media and the real world because we were flooded with phone calls from people all day, literally around the world, all very positive, very supportive,” he said.
