‘How Do You Fit Down the Chimney?’ Rachel Campos-Duffy Interviews ‘Santa Claus’ on Fox News
Fox News co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy interviewed a very special guest “all the way from the North Pole” on The Ingraham Angle, Friday.
Filling in for host Laura Ingraham, Campos-Duffy introduced “the big man himself, Santa Claus,” and opened the interview by questioning him about his origin as Saint Nicholas.
“I became a saint by qualifying a miracle. I used to be a bishop and I became a saint when I cleared rough seas,” he told Campos-Duffy. “So most people don’t realize, I’m actually the patron saint and savior of fishermen.”
Claus went on to reveal that when he wasn’t busy with work, he liked to spend his time in Florida.
“Who knew Santa loved Florida as much as the rest of us,” replied Campos-Duffy, before asking, “Somebody’s on the naughty list right now. Is it too late to get off?”
Claus responded:
It’s never too late. There’s always a second chance available because, in actuality, there’s really not too many naughty kids. There’s mostly misunderstood ones. So, just like when I used to give coal, people thought that was a punishment, but back then all the homes were heated with coal, so that was a second chance for those children to give that coal to their families to help them heat their home.
Asked, “So how do you fit down the chimney, you know? And what do you do if people don’t have a chimney?” Claus said, “Well, fitting down the chimney is a little easier with some Christmas magic,” before winking and touching his nose.
“But if I don’t have a chimney to go down and I don’t have a fireplace, well that’s when my magic key comes into place,” he claimed.
Claus then concluded the interview with a big “ho, ho, ho!”
Campos-Duffy did not ask Claus for his thoughts on Target’s “gay nutcracker and wheelchair Santa” ornaments, which came under fire in a Fox News segment last month.
