‘Zombie Murderers’ Will Invade America if US Doesn’t Support Israel in Gaza, Former Israeli PM Tells CNN
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned on Monday that “zombie murderers” would invade the United States if it decided to stop aiding Israel in Gaza.
“Politico is reporting that Biden is so upset by the issue in Rafah that he may condition military aid to Israel,” said CNN host Erin Burnett during an interview with Bennett in New York, before asking the former Israeli prime minister whether he believed the report to be a “real threat.”
Bennett replied:
I hope not because we’re fighting your war, Erin. We’re fighting the war against radical Islam. Hamas is not about peace, it’s not about the Palestinians, it’s about radical Islam, the forefront of radical Islam, and mark my words, if we are prevented from defeating radical Islam in Gaza, you’re going to meet radical Islam again here in New York, you’re going to meet it in London on the streets, you’re going to meet it across the world. Every Islamic radical terrorist is looking at what’s going on in Gaza and that’s their litmus test – do we have the resolve? And we knew it’s gonna be tough. We knew that. But you can’t stop in the middle just because it’s tough.
He then added, “I want to tell you something. When Japan attacked America and killed 2,400 Americans at Pearl Harbor, America took time, took four years Three million Japanese died in war, but you knew that you had to do that.”
After Burnett replied, “And America did some shameful things, like camps for Japanese people,” Bennett remarked:
I think that perhaps America was imperfect, but America was darn good in fighting and defeating the total evil that Japan and Nazi Germany presented back then. We’re fighting total evil, and we might be imperfect, but we’re doing everyone’s job and the world should back Israel. Otherwise, everyone’s gonna face it. These zombie murderers are gonna come right over here.
“So what you call ‘zombie murderers,’ obviously others see a different way,” Burnett observed. “Maybe not about Hamas specifically, but this is a broader issue.”
“I’m talking about Hamas,” concluded Bennett.
In November, CNN anchor Jake Tapper confronted Bennett on the number of civilians killed by Israel in its bombing campaign against Gaza.
“Don’t you think the last six weeks have done a lot to incite and inspire a whole new generation of terrorists?” asked Tapper. “I mean, all the civilian deaths? I mean, don’t you worry that that in itself is going raise and inspire a whole new generation of Palestinians who hate Israelis?”
Bennett replied, “It depends what we do next. I want to remind you that Nazi Germany, in the final months of the war, there were many, many civilian casualties. Yet Germany was denazified after the war and we had a new Germany.”
