Comedian Rob Schneider lashed out at critics “whining” about his comedy following a report that a comedy set at a GOP event was cut short with a Republican senator even walking out.

Politico’s Daniel Lippman first reported on Monday about an event late last year held by the Senate Working Group. The holiday event included a set by Saturday Night Live alum Schneider. According to the report, the set was cut short after Schneider got too vulgar.

A spokesperson for Sen. Cindy Hyde Smith (R-MS) confirmed the senator walked out of the “gross and vulgar” set. There aren’t many details about what Schneider actually said, but he reportedly referenced “Korean whorehouses” at one point.

In a Tuesday X post, Schneider teased that he’s coming to Washington D.C. to perform.

“I will tell you ALL the JOKES that this group of pussies and professional political asskissers are whining about!!” he wrote.

He later joked, “ALL political parties (since we only get 2, double China) are welcome!”

The post includes an image of Senate Working Group executive director James Kimmey. Schneider reportedly had a verbal agreement to keep his set relatively clean with Kimmey.

Following reports about his set, Schneider said the details were overblown. He told TMZ he won’t apologize for any jokes and said he did a full 50 minute set despite the set reportedly being cut short after just 10 minutes.

Schneider has long been known for edgy humor. In recent years, he’s found voice with many conservative fans thanks to his criticism of vaccine mandates. He revealed to Fox News in 2022 that he ditched his longtime home of San Francisco, California for Arizona over the state’s liberal policies. His most recent comedy special, Woke Up In America, released on Fox Nation.

In other posts about his set, Schneider posted that the “Korean whorehouse” joke has been part of his act for years, even appearing in a Netflix special.

“My ‘Korean Whore House’ Joke is NOW STREAMING ON NETFLIX…And has been for the last 3 and 1/2 years. The delayed, rescheduled, Late Onset, 3rd Stage Cancel attempt can be seen at your own leisure! (Why’d they pick tax day?),” he wrote.
