Trump Takes Victory Lap at UFC Fight — Reunites With Rogan, Kid Rock and More MAGA Allies in Wild Scene

President-elect Donald Trump took a victory lap of sorts Saturday night when he returned to New York City’s Madison Square Garden for a UFC event and reunited with a posse of his MAGA allies.
Trump showed up to UFC 309 with Elon Musk, Dana White, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Kid Rock, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to name a few.
While at the venue, Trump also rubbed elbows with Joe Rogan, Tulsi Gabbard, and Jon “Bones” Jones – who faced Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight championship.
Jones knocked out Miocic in the third round of his fight and gave Trump a shoutout before offering the crowd his rendition of the president-elect’s YMCA dance.
The fighter followed up the gesture by gifting his championship belt to Trump:
Trump held a rally at MSG on Oct. 27, just nine days before the election, that featured jokes and commentary that many felt might turn off voters and hurt his election bid.
He ended up defeating Vice President Kamala Harris to win both the Electoral College and the popular vote, arguably in part due to his alliances with many of the people in the building Saturday.
One photo from UFC 309 was taken after the event and showed Trump eating McDonald’s with Musk, Kennedy, and Donald Trump Jr. with Johnson in tow.
