Fox’s Jessica Tarlov Turns the Tables on Co-Hosts Alleging Democratic Anti-Semitism: ‘Why Are There No Jewish Republican Senators?’

Fox News’ The Five co-host Jessica Tarlov tore into her colleagues for suggesting that Jewish Democrats have “Stockholm Syndrome” on Tuesday, before questioning why there were no Jewish senators in the Republican Party.

Asked by co-host Jesse Watters why Vice President Kamala Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate over Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who is Jewish, she said, “Well, I don’t think it’s because she doesn’t like Jews. She’s married to one.”

Tarlov, who is Jewish, continued:

I would never deny the fact that we have an anti-Semitism problem in the party, but there was more that complicated Josh Shapiro becoming the vice president than that. There was the chemistry issue, there was his support for school vouchers, which angered the teachers unions. When all of the labor bosses gave interviews, they liked Tim Walz the best and Andy Beshear from Kentucky.

I don’t think that’s because he is a Jew, I think it’s because he wasn’t as strong on labor issues. A majority of American Jews are Democrats and Donald Trump has, he called Doug Emhoff a “crappy Jew” last week.

As Watters began to laugh, Tarlov shot back, “That’s hilarious. Jews find that hilarious… It’s not funny.”

She then added:

I want to say something about the Republican Party and Jews. If the Republican Party was such a safe space for them, why are there no Jewish Republican senators? There are nine, they’re all Democrats, and Chuck Schumer is a Jew and he’s the leader of our party.

Tarlov also noted that while there were “26 congresspeople who are Jewish,” only two of them are Republican.

“You ever heard of Stockholm Syndrome?” mocked co-host Greg Gutfeld. “Case closed.”

As Gutfeld, Watters, and Jeanine Pirro continued to disagree with Tarlov over the issue, she replied, “Okay, well all of the Jewish Americans that vote for Democrats are idiots to you guys, is that correct?”

“You said it,” concluded Gutfeld. “I think you should take it back, but you said it.”
