Fox News Host Jesse Watters Addresses Controversial Remark About Kamala Harris: ‘I Wasn’t Suggesting Anything of a Sexual Nature’

Fox News host Jesse Watters addressed a controversial remark he made about generals “having their way with” Vice President Kamala Harris on The Five, Tuesday, telling viewers his comments were not intended to be “of a sexual nature.”

Watters received backlash on Monday after he said about Harris: “We don’t know what she believes. She’s gonna get paralyzed in the Situation Room while the generals have their way with her.”

Watters’ female co-hosts immediately chided him for the remark and told him “take it back,” which prompted the Fox News host to insist he did not mean it “in a sexual way.”

At the beginning of The Five on Tuesday, Watters addressed the remark from the previous show, insisting again that there was no sexual intent.

After co-host Greg Gutfeld joked, “Listen to me. Don’t listen to Jesse, listen to me!” Watters turned to the camera and said:

On that note, maybe listen to this. There’s been some attention to comments I made on the show yesterday about VP Harris. People are misconstruing my comments to mean something inappropriate. I wasn’t suggesting anything of a sexual nature. I was expressing my opinion that Vice President Harris’s current leadership style could be an issue if elected.
