Quentin Tarantino Gushes To Bill Maher About ‘Amazing’ Fox News Host — Has ‘Hardest Job On TV’

Outspoken filmmaker Quentin Tarantino praised “amazing” liberal Fox News co-host Jessica Tarlov as having the “hardest job on television” — and asked Bill Maher why there’s no equivalent on MSNBC.

Tarantino was a guest on this week’s edition of Maher’s Club Random Podcast, during which the pair argued over the 2024 election, and whether Vice President Kamala Harris should be expected to do lots of interviews and press conferences ahead of the election.

That chat was prefaced by Tarantino’s observation that Tarlov hangs tough in hostile territory — but there’s no one on MSNBC in that role:

QUENTIN TARANTINO: So let me ask you about because you you know her. You had her on your show.

I was like, I was like, man, you got to get her on your show. And then you finally did. I don’t know if you guys got along, but I have to ask you about one person that I’m really kind of curious about, and, and, and even the existence of this one person is an interesting thing to me.

Okay. Fox is Fox, MSNBC is MSNBC. There are a lot closer than we wish they were, but there’s still enough daylight between them. Correct? But the closeness is all to the discredit of MSNBC.

BILL MAHER: Correct? Correct. I would agree with that.

QUENTIN TARANTINO: But there’s still daylight between them.

BILL MAHER: Yep.

QUENTIN TARANTINO: Yet! Yet! Fox does hire Jessica Tarlov. And they put her on their big show, and she says what she says against the Fox audience, against the panel, and especially against Jeanine Pirro. All right. Monday through fucking Friday.

BILL MAHER: Yep.

QUENTIN TARANTINO: As far as I’m– as far as I can see, that is the hardest job on television. All right. And also, they kind of like– maybe not Jeanine, but they all kind of like her.

So they’re not going to, they don’t go ballistic on her. All right. They keep it respectful and. You know. And so here’s the thing.

One, she’s kind of amazing. I think that’s one of the hardest jobs that there is out there.

But two. How come there isn’t that person on MSNBC, right?

BILL MAHER: Well, I asked the same question. And that says a lot about the left, because MSNBC is a branch of the left, who, you know, again, we probably.

QUENTIN TARANTINO: Don’t say Nicolle Wallace, you know, as you turned her. Fuck you. You turned her a decade ago. A decade ago!

BILL MAHER: Exactly. No, I’ve said that.
