‘I Want It To Be True’: Joe Rogan Repeatedly Fact-Checked On Own Show For Claims About Dems Paying Millions to Celebrities
Joe Rogan was repeatedly fact-checked by his producer on his own show for claiming that Democrats paid millions to celebrities for endorsements.
The UFC commentator interviewed comedian Jeff Dye on The Joe Rogan Experience in an episode released on Thursday, where the pair discussed how many celebrities endorsed Kamala Harris. The famous podcaster endorsed him for president shortly after Rogan interviewed Trump during the 2024 election.
During the conversation, Rogan claimed Dye jokingly asked Rogan how much money did Trump give the podcaster to endorse him. Rogan said he received nothing from Trump before going on to claim that Harris paid Beyoncé and Eminem millions for their support.
Rogan’s longtime producer Jamie Vernon, then interrupted their conversation to repeatedly highlight that there is no evidence to support the claim that Harris or the DNC gave millions to celebrities for them to endorse Harris:
ROGAN: Bro, Eminem took 1.8.
DYE: 1.8?!
VERNON: How do we know that’s true?
ROGAN: Because I said it and read it on the internet. The fuck is wrong with you?
VERNON: I have not found any evidence that supports this stuff, including some of them being asked and said I was not paid.
ROGAN: I think it’s all legit.
